Contributing Artists
Tessa Rose – A Dutch singer, producer and rapper, Tessa Rose is known as a member of the Wallplug collective until 2025 and has also joined the Rafting Goods hip-hop collective in 2025. She blends classic boom-bap influences with soulful vocals in her music. Tessa’s voice is featured prominently on Wallplug Vol. 1 (including solo track “Noodlijn”), and she has appeared on compilations like Rafting Goods Volume 3 and the album Haute Culture by Tim Beumers.
DYANGO – DYANGO is a Dutch-born rapper, producer, songwriter, and performer. He emerged in the hip-hop scene around 2020. In 2022 he started doing live shows with his good friend tays and met the Wallplug collective at their show on the 5th of november 2022. Quickly after that he started collaborating heavily with the collective. On Wallplug Vol. 1 he delivers gritty Dutch rap verses and even some production input. Following the album, DYANGO prepared for his solo debut EP (titled LIEVER NIET AFHANKELYK VAN), showcasing some of its tracks in live sessions. His work on the collective’s album and beyond positions him as a driving force in the group’s creative output.
tays – tays (Taysier El-Sayed) is a rapper, producer and singer. Prior to the compilation, he had already released a solo album “kwestie van tays”, establishing himself in the Dutch scene. He contributed verses to tracks like “Fine Line” on Wallplug Vol. 1, and also pairs with Tommie Rose on the jazzy “Baanbrekend.” A Pokoe Magazine feature introduced tays as a key Wallplug member with a distinctive style and noted his solo work. His blend of confident “bars and a catchy refrain” on Vol. 1 tracks showcases his mainstream appeal.
Ra’s Vertigo – Ra’s Vertigo is a rapper, singer and producer known for his introspective lyrics and dark, melodic and experimental style. After releasing singles like “Skitta” and the EP “ICARUS” in 2022 he developed his style. On Wallplug Vol. 1, Ra’s Vertigo shows his versatility to the fullest. His artistic persona adds a moody, conscious dimension to the collective’s work.
Tommie Rose – Tommie Rose is a rapper, singer and producer from Hoorn, and a founding member of Wallplug Records. Tommie is arguably the sonic architect of Wallplug Vol. 1 – he executive produced, co-produced and mixed many tracks and performs on several songs. He frequently appears both behind the boards and on the mic: delivering verses in Dutch and English, and hook vocals throughout the album.
